According to Mark Lancaster of The Tampa Tribune (click here for his story), Matt Garza was placed on the DL after last night’s game with “radial nerve irritation”. The team has called up Jae Kuk Ryu to take his spot on the roster, but as Lancaster speculates, will most likely use Jeff Niemann in Garza’s rotation spot.
