The Only Colors — ... we went through this exercise was after the Northwestern game.  At that point, we were hopeful that the back-to-back 30% performances, followed by the decent 17.1% against Northwestern's short-pass-based offense portended good things for the defense.  It looked like maybe the new starters were gelling in the base 4-3 defense and our remaining opponents would suffer because of it.
