KANSAS CITY - Jason Giambi will start a rehab assignment with Single-A Tampa tomorrow, and he believes he will be ready to join the Yankees as early as next week. "I'm glad he feels that way," manager Joe Torre said. "(But) next week seems a little ambitious." Giambi has been out since June 1 with torn plantar fascia tissue in his left foot.
