Giants will not re-sign RF Randy Winn
Sporting News staff reports Randy Winn will not return to the San Francisco Giants next season. Winn's agent, Craig Landis, tells the San Jose Mercury News that the club told his client it has a number of young outfielders available in its system. Winn, 35, batted .262 this season with just two home runs in 149 games. He was the Giants' primary No. 3 hitter. Landis says Winn wants to remain an everyday outfielder.
