... Well, this will sour things a bit after the Phils winning the NL East today: Brian Westbrook and Brian Dawkins were listed as inactive for tonight’s game against the Giants. While Quintin Mikell can probably make up for Dawk’s absence as he did last week, the Eagles’ offense will have trouble compensating for the loss of Westbrook, who suffered an abdominal strain in last week’s game against the Lions. Correll Buckhalter and Tony Hunt will need to come up big, or the Birds’ offense might ground to a halt tonight. As expected, Lito Sheppard and William Thomas are also out, which further hinders the team. Back later after the game. ...
