... [Box] Two wins in a row and the first series win in quite a while. Very good. The Pirates didn't exactly hit the awful Barry Zito hard, but X-Man hit a 2-run homer to account for the only score off the lefty in 5 innings. Phil Dumatrait countered with 5 innings and change of scoreless work, and would pick up his first major league win. The bullpen was great. Yates, Marte, and Capps with a somewhat shaky 9th (he gave up the run) but ended the game with a familiar GIDP from former Buc Jose Castillo. Solid win. The hitting cooled down, and ...
