Girardi did a nice job picking his words, but what he said about the situation boils down to “he pitched like crap and needs to earn another shot.” Moves like this aren’t unprecedented; both Roy Halladay & Edinson Volquez were demoted all the way down to A-ball after spending significant time in the big leagues, and we know how those two turned out. ...
