This year, I keep hearing how well Johan Santana has pitched and wonder if it is true. Conversely, I also hear he needs to kick it up a notch - he is not as tough and gritty as he was advertised as! His W/L record does not support that he is pitching great, so we are going to go outside the W/L numbers and look at how the Mets hit when he’s on the mound.
