GM and Coaches Protection Program

It may be time for the federal government to intervene. It may also be time to expand the federal witness protection program to GMs and coaches.

Personally, if I were A.J. Smith or Norv Turner, I wouldn't go home tonight. And I'd have already made the call to get my family to safety. While I believe in the generous and loving heart of the city of San Diego, you can only break a heart so many times before it turns nasty.

You can't blame L.T. for the Chargers loss to Kansas City. You can't blame any of the players. From 14-2 to 1-3 with no significant player changes? Well, in a court of law that's a lot of circumstantial evidence stacked up against what may be the worst coaching staff in the NFL.

So Dean Spanos, do something. Book 'em, indict 'em, prosecute 'em, and can 'em. Or at least get them out of the public and to safety. You've stabbed the team and the fans squarely between the shoulder blades and I fear for the reaction.
