Well, After 9 Losses in a Row I Guess We'll Take a Series Win
Bluebird Banter — ... There were a couple of Jay stories on MLB.com. In one JP says we might be a buyer in by the trade deadline. I guess that really tells us nothing, he doesn't suggest what we might be looking for. And in more shocking news, JP says he still believes in Travis Snider. Was there a doubt? ...

"one more thumper in the lineup"
Chicago White Sox — This is how JP referred to the possible target of trade efforts if the Jays stay in the race. Now as much as Jays fans would prefer "sooner rather than later" JP made it clear that he wants to see how June goes before he pulls the trigger. So let me get ahead of the run-up of speculation by trying to compile a list of potentially available bats who fit the needs and circumstances of the Jays. We can narrow the ...

What a Difference a Week Makes
fenwaywest.com 5/29/2009 — When the Blue Jays entered Fenway last week the series was billed as the playoffs in May. Red Sox @ Jays Preview
duelingcouches.blogspot.com 5/29/2009 — The Sox will try to build off the 3-1 win over the Twins yesterday, but if they are to do that they are going to need to get their offense going. For that to happen they are going to need players like Jason bay (who is only hitting .167 over the last 7 days) to get it going. The good news is ...
