Here's a real head-scratcher out of New Jersey, as the Devils have fired coach Claude Julein with the team in first place and the playoffs starting next week. GM Lou Lamoriello is taking the helm for the Cup run. Yes, they did something similar when they axed Robbie Ftorek late in the season before winning the 2000 Cup, but I'm guessing this wasn't Lou's plan all along...
