David Cone made his triumphant return to the YES Network broadcast booth on Wednesday night. Unfortunately for all of us who want to hear more HILARIOUS things come out of his mouth, I doubt Coney will have a job much longer. Video of Cone's gaffe on NYYSI.

Fun times in the bullpen

David Cone Caught Jerkin' It Out Again, This Time On TV
FanIQ Blog — A lot of former athletes go into broadcasting because, well, sports are all they know. Sometimes it works out, but most of the time it doesn't. For David Cone, I'm going to bet on the latter, particularly after he let this one fly the other night. Something tells me Cone was fondly remembering his own days in the bullpen. Stanley Pringle approves. Good news Yankee Fans - Ian Kennedy got jerked off in the bullpen [New York Yankee Insider]

Ian Kennedy Jerked off in the bullpen? Get your mind out of the gutter

The Sordid Underbelly of the Yankee Bullpen...Exposed!
FanHouse — ... jerked around. YES announcer David Cone, on the other hand, would say something else (something that might not be for ears that object easily) entirely. I guess Mariano Rivera isn't the only happy ending coming out of the Yankee pen. If it were anyone else, I'd just assume they misspoke. Cone, on the other hand, was something of an enthusiast of that particular pastime during his own career, so the issue remains unsettled. (Thanks to Yankee Stadium Insider for the video)   Permalink |  ...

David Cone is at it again - " Giambi is humpin' "
NYY Stadium Insider is now New Stadium Insider - Please update your bookmarks! — Any good Yankee fan will remember earlier this year when Ian Kennedy "got jerked off" in the bullpen (according to David Cone). On today's YES broadcast, David Cone was reviewing a replay and said enthousiastically that Jason Giambi was "humpin" as he was trying to beat out (that sounds like something Cone would say) an infield single. Here is the video evidence: A bit sophomoric of us to point out? Absolutely. However, everyone should be reminded once again about David Cone's famous bullpen session back when he was a young ...
