Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that the proposal governing hair length was a major topic of conversation when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met Tuesday with the NFL’s players’ advisory council. Last month NFL owners tabled a proposal introduced by the Kansas City Chiefs that would prevent players from wearing hair long enough to cover the names on the backs of their jerseys. The owners could take the issue up again at their May meeting.
