Last week, the kids at College Humor pulled off what we'd have to consider a prank of epic proportions; one guy put a fake marriage proposal on the big screen at Yankee Stadium as his friend, the object of the prank, sat agape with his girlfriend, who, amazingly, said "yes" before he had a chance to alert her to the joke. The best thing about our favorite ultra-sarcastic and cynical sports blog, Deadspin , is that not only do they link you to the funniest sports stuff floating around the Web, but then they interview the guys behind the stories. It's not entirely Yankee-related, but Deadspin posted video of a prank , the setting for which was Yankee Stadium, last Wednesday against the Mariners. If you don't feel like sitting through the video, let's just say it involves a fake marriage proposal, one vicious slap, Yankee Stadium, and pure prank genius. (Note that there's some colorful language in the video, so careful about where you blast the audio!) Thanks for letting us get that out of the way.
