... his only option is not to play at all. Ultimately, I expect Grant to sign a deal with a modest raise, but one that gives him nowhere near as much as a 25-year-old coming off a big season would make on the open market. It's unfair to Grant that just because he wasn't considered a hot prospect coming out of college, he's stuck near the bottom of the wage scale until he's been in the league long enough to be a free agent.
