Shoulder inflammation is never good news for a reliever - especially if it’s the same ailment that put said reliever on the DL in April - but that’s what bothered Eddie Guardado of the Texas Rangers last night in the Bronx. It’s too early to tell how significant the injury is, or if it will require surgery, but he turns 38 this October, and perhaps after 15 years in the Bigs, we’ve seen the last of Everyday Eddie.
