The great boxing historian Hank Kaplan died today at his home in Kendall, Florida. He was 88 years old. Kaplan was an immensely respected journalist in the boxing community, inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2006. I think we can all be glad that Mr. Kaplan lived such a great, colorful life, and that he stayed with us long enough to see himself enshrined at Canastota. His ...
