Pelicans' right-handed ace Tommy Hanson has been promoted to Double-A Mississippi of the Southern League by the Atlanta Braves.  The move was announced following the Pelicans 4-3 win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks on Saturday night.  Hanson has dominated the Carolina League through seven starts posting a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 0.90.
