New York Yankees Fan Blog — ... . I was reminded yesterday by Peter Abraham that it was Phil Hughes' birthday. Hughes is now all of 23 years old. It's hard to believe, because we've been talking about him for several years. I think this season we are seeing the maturation of Hughes. As I wrote above about Cervelli, I doubt Hughes is ever going back to the minors again.
