I have some questions about the situation in Phoenix, such as:  1)  What was ownership thinking, building their new arena on the opposite side of the metropolitan area from their fan base?  2)  What was ownership thinking, agreeing to such terrible lease terms - i.e., paying the city for each parking space used?  Plain and simple, ownership put the Coyotes in this position.

That said, it makes good long-term business sense for the city to cut the Coyotes a break at this time.  It's only temporary, and better to forego the revenue for a couple of years now than to demand the money up front, and watch the franchise fold and the revenue source go away forever before the arena is paid off.

Good post - keep up the good work!
