The Mets announced yesterday that Pedro Martinez will begin throwing from a mound in 10 days or so.
…this would suggest he may not see a rehab start, assuming he makes one, until the end of May , which is what the team initially thought last week …
Also, Orlando Hernandez will keep his foot in a boot for two more weeks, while continuing to rehab a strained ligament.
