UNC needed another ninth inning rally to eliminate Western Carolina 6-5 and sweep through the Chapel Hill Regional. UNC needed similar heroics on Saturday to beat East Carolina 11-10 and entered the top of the ninth today trailing the Catamounts 5-4 before posting two runs and taking the lead for good. ... As expected, the Tar Heels beat both East and Western Carolina this weekend to advance to the Super Regional of the NCAA's. What was surprising was that UNC entered the ninth in both games behind in the socre. Two rallies later though, and theey're waiting the winner of USC-Charlotte.
