This isn’t exactly the cavalry coming over the hill, but the Giants’ beleaguered, battered and just plain bad defense will get some help this week. Linebacker Michael Boley (knee) and Defensive tackle Chris Canty (calf) are both expected to practice on Wednesday.
Considering the defense has now had its worst three-game stretch since 1973, I can’t imagine that’s enough to solve all their problems. But every little bit helps.

My take: MG raises a great point. The blitz always seems to be coming from the wrong side. Or from somewhere off your TV screen. One other thing I will say. The Giants keep talking about 'gap discipline' against the run. Well, if they don't have any, and they have guys running around and doing what they want or what they aren't supposed to do, who is at fault for that? The coordinator.
