sfgate.com — In a hilarious bout of irony, the man who ended up giving up the 755th home run of the Giants Barry Bonds was none other than the San Diego Padres Clay Hensley, a former Giants draft pick who had been suspended for steroid usage in the minor leagues.

On the same day, Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player in history to hit 500 home runs. Rodriguez is seen as the man most likely to catch Bonds during his career.
