babesinsportsland.blogspot.com 6/2/2008 — We had written on May 21, 2008 that Maria Sharapova was poised to win the French Open. Obviously, we were wrong, since she lost today in her match to Dinara Safina. We thought that she was ready, but the hill was too tall to climb. She had struggled mightily throughout the French Open, but had really gutted it out. Finally, she succumbed to the strain.
We had written on May 21, 2008 that Maria Sharapova was poised to win the French Open. Obviously, we were wrong, since she lost today in her match to Dinara Safina.
