HISTORY MADE: Bonds Hits 755. A-Rod hits 500
Maury posted 8/5/2007 from bizofbaseball.com
History was two-fold today, as Barry Bonds has just hit home run #755 off Clay Ensley in San Diego in the top of the 2nd inning to tie Henry Aaron as the all-time home run leader. On the same day, Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player in history to hit 500 home runs. Rodriguez is seen as the man most likely to catch Bonds during his career.
