Cox: Red Wings' Franzen would have become poster boy for obstruction had Penguins lost
Snapshots —
Red Wings forward Johan Franzen delivered a hard hit on Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby during Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and whether you thought it was a plain hard hit in a battle for the puck or obstruction...the Toronto Star's Damien Cox argues that #93 would have become the poster boy for the NHL's return to clutch-and-grab hockey if the Penguins hadn't prevailed: June 14, Toronto Star : The NHL, it's fair to say, dodged a bullet in Game 7 when the Penguins won.
