I had planned to write a post today debating which young center fielder you would rather have — Melky Cabrera of the New York Yankees or Jacoby Ellsbury of the Boston Red Sox. That post, which would surely start an argument along Yankees-Red Sox lines, is inappropriate today, considering the tragic news out of New Hampshire that a Red Sox fan ran over and killed a Yankee fan with her car.dmothe30 posted 5/6/2008 from blog.masslive.com
A petition seeking to get the late Matthew Beaudoin, 29, a day of tribute at Fenway Park. Beaudoin, a Red Sox fan, was struck and killed by the vehicle of an angry Yankees fan outside a New Hampshire bar, according to numerous news accounts.... this seems fitting, and like it could be something the whole blogosphere could get behind.mysportsrumors posted 5/6/2008 from mysportsrumors.com
While I try to figure out what I want to write, here’s a few links to some of the baseball things I’ve read this morning. They include articles about the Red Sox fan killed in NH, a baseball recap from yesterday, Ozzie Guillen and his blow up toys, and a look at Robinson Cano today and last season.Posted 5/6/2008 on SPORTSbyBROOKS
The New Hampshire driver who ran over & killed a Red Sox fan is being held without bail. The NASHUA TELEGRAPH reports that Ivonne Hernandez will remain in jail while facing charges of second-degree murder in the death of Matthew Beaudoin . Hernandez, a self-proclaimed Yankees fan, drove her car through a group of Sox fans after an argument in a local bar. But, according to ...Posted 5/6/2008 on All on the Field sports blog
Sports rivalries are all fun and games until someone decides to "take this outside." A Yankees fan who found herself among throngs of Red Sox fans at a New Hampshire bar has been charged with the reckless second-degree murder of one of her hecklers. When an argument over whose team was the best made its way outside, Ivonne Hernandez got into her car, pointed it toward a crowd of Red Sox ...Posted 5/6/2008 on Respect Jeter's Gangster
Some of you may have seen this already, but a man was killed and another person injured when a Yankee fan ran her car into a group of Red Sox fans. You can find a link to the article here . It started when a group of Red Sox fans were heckling this woman outside of a bar in Nashua, New Hampshire. This is very tragic because when it comes down to it this is just a game, and this rivalry isn't ...Posted 5/5/2008 on

Back in early March a Yankees fan was attacked by a group of Red Sox fans in Cambridge, Mass. The Yankee fan was hospitalized after he made the mistake of wearing a Yankees hat into a Cambridge bar. Now comes word that a Yankees fan living in New Hampshire has killed one Red Sox fan and injured another after hitting them with her car. Just as in the first case, alcohol played a factor. ...Posted 5/7/2008 on Sox and Pinstripes | Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees – The Greatest Rivalry in Baseball
By now, you've likely read about the 43-year-old female Yankees fan who got involved in an argument with a group of Red Sox fans outside of a Nashua, New Hampshire bar, climbed in her car and rammed it into a group chanting, "Yankees suck!" One person was killed, and another was injured. The Yankees fan, Ivonne Hernandez, is in jail and charged with second-degree murder. In the sports ...Posted 5/5/2008 on THE BRONX CHEER
Ivonne Hernandez is the ultimate Red Sox killer. That’s right, this card-carrying member of Yankee Universe ran over and killed a Red Sox fan over the weekend. Why? Allegedly because of the dreaded ‘Yankees Suck’ chant. They gave Leyritz a hero’s welcome in the Yankee clubhouse after his DUI incident. So what kind of reception will this woman get at the Stadium?Mets Merized Online - A Mets Blog For ... found this 4/25/2008 on theropolitans.com
