Last night the Hornets and Spurs both closed out their first-round playoff series with Game 5 wins against the Mavericks and Suns, respectively. An SI.com report on Tuesday night said the coach will not return after his team was eliminated by the San Antonio Spurs in five games in their best-of-7 first-round playoff series.
