Hornets launch website to promote Chris Paul's MVP chances

They can launch Chris Paul to the moon, he is still not winning the MVP this year.    He is a future MVP if he keeps it up, but no way - it is Kobe's time.

Day 140 of 170: Chris Paul, Please Get Off the Stage, You Need to Let Other People Have Their Turn

Line of the Night: I’ve run out of things to say about Chris Paul (6.5) other than the fact that yesterday he scored 37 points (15-21 from the field) with 13 assists and 3 steals. And today is the day I write him down as my fantasy MVP on the year. In pen, so you know, it’s permanent.

Chris Paul: Can We Get CP3 Some MVP Love?

Trap Game

Call me crazy… but I see tonight as a classic trap game for the Celtics. They’ve just come off huge back-to-back wins… and they’re getting ready for a huge game against New Orleans and hot MVP candidate Chris Paul on ...

12 minutes shy…
A great week of basketball fell just a quarter short of perfection last nite in New Orleans. For the longest time it looked like the Celtics would sweep a five game road trip for the first time since one of Tommy’s teams did it back in the early 70’s. However a flurry of uncharacteristic turnovers enabled Chris Paul to salvage an otherwise un-MVP like game and stop the road ...
CP3 for MVP
CP3 (photo. David Deal) The Hornets management is using cyberspace to make the case that Kobe and LeBron aren’t in a two-horse race for MVP. In all fairness, Chris Paul has been nothing short of incredible this season, clearly separating himself from the League’s point guards. But can anyone argue with what Kobe and LeBron have [...]
Chris Paul Gets His Own MVP Website; Oh Yeah, Hornets in First, Too
First of all, it's about freaking time, New Orleans. You had the best team in the NBA through most of the first half, and after a brief slip to the middle of the pack in the West (which is the top anyway) the Hornets are back on top after beating the Rockets last night. Everyone does know why the Hornets are in first right? Because the only answer is: Chris Paul . That's why Paul, who is ...
Chris Paul Ain't Winning MVP With This One
I've seen a lot of crappy websites in my day...I'm looking right at you Poodles.com ...but the new website the Hornets launched to help win Chris Paul MVP shares an ample spot in the pantheon of poop. The site is " CP3MVP.com ", a name that sounds more like a license plate than a website. Also, it's hard to look at the name and NOT think about Star Wars character C3PO. I showed the name to ...
Amare Stoudemire Is A Great Talent, But Still Not MVP Great

Chris Paul Explodes Against Chicago
After a moderately subpar game against Detroit on Sunday, CP3 reminded us the MVP discussion is long from being over. While many are content to concede the award to Lebron or Kobe, the face of the New Orleans franchise continues to be just as dominant while keeping the Hornets right in the thick of things in the Western Conference. Last night’s performance against the Bulls ...
Suns Stoudemire wants MVP consideration
About five players have emerged as MVP candidates for this NBA season. Kobe Bryant , Chris Paul , LeBron James , Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady top most lists. Phoenix Suns forward Amaré Stoudemire won't say whether he thinks he deserves consideration. "That's up to you guys," he told reporters after Monday's practice. But it is clear Stoudemire seeks greater recognition for ...
The Rotation: The MVP Award Is as Real as the Hair on Bret Michaels' Head
The Rotation is a weekly study on the NBA by one of our All-Star voices. In rotation this week is Brett Edwards . Kobe Bryant is likely to win the MVP, even though LeBron James is having the better season. I think the reason for this is because the award itself has less to do with which player in the Association is having the best season, and more to do with the kind of bogus narratives ...
Chris Paul could be the player to beat as the MVP
I have stated my case for Kobe Bryant to win the MVP here on Slam Dunk Central, but I have to admit that Chris Paul is becoming as MVP-worthy as anyone in the NBA. Kobe, LeBron James and Kevin Garnett have been his biggest competitors to the award all season. Garnett has really fallen back in the pack even though the Celtics have maintained the Association's best record, partly due to ...
