Carlos Gomez was named the Twins starting center fielder to begin the season. So far, Gomez has a .269 average with two home runs, 12 runs batted in and he is currently tied for the American League lead in stolen bases with 16 on the season. An interesting stat on Gomez’s line shows 33 strikeouts and only four walks so far in 131 total at-bats. He also hit for the cycle this past week. ... [link]
