How To Break Your Nose Via A Foul Ball
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfVldS1YDx8 We watched this one live last night. Dude sitting in the front row at the Orioles-Tigers game didn’t keep his eyes on the ball, instead took this foul off the ridge of his nose. Extra credit to the Orioles broadcast for slowing down the video. The Tigers broadcast showed blood spewing out of this gasher. [link]

Do you use your hands to catch the ball and protect your face, or is it the other way around?: Ah, yes, of course: You use your face to protect your hands. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Captain Coordination. (Via Busted Coverage)

... It screamed, "What the hell, dude? Why didn't you catch that?" Of course, the look quickly morphed into "It hurts! It hurts! I want my mommy!" Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to stare at a baseball coming right for you and never try to catch it or at least get out of the way? After watching "The Wire" on HBO for so many years, I knew the Baltimore public school system had it's flaws, but I had no idea things were this bad.
