That video is great--the intensity, the perm, the 2nd person perspective.  And this line was interesting:

"In the NBA there's only one guy on any team that wants the ball to decide the game."

In other words, even though they're filled with players who have been The Man on their respective teams growing up, NBA teams are just like my rec-league teams.  There can be only one top dog.

I met Hubie Brown a few times back when he was the coach of the Knicks outside of Madison Square Garden.   A very nice guy, class act.     Real knowledgeable and did not mind talking to a little pip squeak like me at the time.    Don't hate on him--he is a good guy.

      Freddy:

I love Hubie but he does scare me.  I hang on his every word but there's a part of me just waiting for him to look directly into the camera and ask me if I've done my homework.

So Brown’s “Semi-Pro” Tech Advisor Gig Is Over?
Published 2/11/2008 by Brooks at SPORTSbyBROOKS
... that Brown, who hasn’t coached since he led the Knicks to a painful 23-59 finish in the 2005-06 season, doesn’t want his career to end on such a low ebb. Chicago GM John Paxson was really starting to show us something for awhile. But then he forked over $50M+ (gag!) for Ben Wallace and traded the most improved player in the league this year, Tyson Chandler, for a worn-out plow horse in P.J. Brown. And now he’s considering the wrong Brown retread. Personally, we’d go with Hubie . At least you’d get some entertainment value for your buck.
