No..this is not a joke…. I am NOT making this up… Yet ANOTHER Yankee will join the DL… PHIL HUGHES!! Yankees right-hander Phil Hughes has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right oblique. Hughes, 0-4 with a 9.00 ERA in six starts this month. Phil Hughes joins Jorge Posada, and Alex rodriguez as the most notable Yankees on the DL at the moment. ...

They found out from the doctor at around 6:30 tonight per Suzyn Waldman that Phil has a strained oblique, won't even pick up a baseball for about 6 days. According to the Post 's Joel Sherman , Phil Hughes has been having a tough time seeing at night in Yankee Stadium. Hughes crossed-up catcher Chris Stewart a few times last night, and later admitted that he had trouble seeing the signs.
