Pags: So What’s Wrong With Ian Kennedy?
www.dugoutcentral.com 4/29/2008 — Pags argues that there's nothing wrong with Kennedy. Hard to agree with that given his ERA, but he makes some good points about the Yankees rushing him.

Mussina's last two starts
scottproctorsarm.blogspot.com 4/29/2008 — Mike Mussina has been more than serviceable in his last two starts. Against the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians, Mussina has pitched a combined 12 innings, allowing 11 hits and four earned runs while striking out five and walking two. Those are fine numbers for a fourth or fifth starter.

Hughes throws another clunker
scottproctorsarm.blogspot.com 4/30/2008 — Phil Hughes against the Detroit Tigers tonight: 3.2 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 2 HR, 82 pitches for 50 strikes It's getting to the point where it's a guaranteed loss when Hughes or Ian Kennedy pitch. While the growing pains were expected, the Yankees still have a payroll upwards of $200 million - meaning they aren't in a rebuilding year.

Harper: Kennedy key for Bombers, as is Hughes — NYDailyNews.com - Baseball 4/25/2008
Suddenly key pieces are falling into place, and you can see the possibilities for the Yankees taking shape, even after their slow start and all the Hank Steinbrenner hysteria.
