Though Thomas says he's blindsided by the allegations, they were rumors me and many others heard after Magic tested positive for HIV and retired from basketball. I specifically remember much talk about Thomas being the one spreading rumors that Magic was gay. To hear Thomas deny some of the talk that was common knowledge almost 20 years ago is curious to say the least. SI.com

So Magic Johnson and Larry Bird are co-writing a book with Jackie MacMullan called When The Game Was Ours.
And, apparently, Isiah Thomas is NOT happy with all these accusations and claims made by Magic. The man is fighting back.
According to Magic’s book (which is to be released November 4), there was quite a bit of Isiah-bashing ...

But with the upcoming release of Magic Johnson’s book that goes after Thomas in detail, I have decided to lay off Isiah from this point forward. Magic essentially admits to blackballing Thomas from joining the 1992 Dream Team, along with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone and Larry Bird.
There are plenty of additional subplots that I won’t mention because I want to address the characteristic of manhood.
