If Seasons Started Today, Chris Perry Would Start
According to Cincinnati Bengals HC Marvin Lewis, If the season opened now, Chris Perry would be the starting running back. Lewis displayed some urgency about the slow progress of injured starting RB Rudi Johnson and WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Lewis also said that WR Chad Johnson's sprained shoulder has progressed quicker than first thought and he remains on target to play week one.
