The Angels figure to look into acquiring reliever Matt Herges, now that the Cleveland Indians reportedly have designated him fo Indians Pirates Baseball r assignment . It wasn’t like he had pitched awfully. Herges, 32, had allowed fewer hits than innings pitched and he had a 3.55 ERA. The Tribe needed roster room for newly acquired Winston Abreu.
