It was the midway through the second quarter when Kevin Durant drove left down the lane and was met by Greg Oden with a blocked shot. Oden was called for a suspect foul. Durant went to the line and proceeded to calmly sink both free-throws.
The split second match-up was just another ...

Game reaction: Blazers 83, Thunder 74 By Sean Meagher, OregonLive.com November 02, 2009, 11:44AM Nobody ever said winning had to be pretty. Especially not on the road and especially not when you're trying to dodge a three-game losing streak. Sunday night's 83-74 win over the Thunder puts the Blazers at .500 on the season, with a win each home and away. In the two wins, the Blazers opponents have averaged a dismal 35-percent shooting (54-151). Comparatively, in two losses, opponents are averaging 48-percent from the field (69-140). An semi-interesting side note: In four games Portland has had three different leading scorers: Brandon Roy twice ( 30 , 42 ), Travis ...

dailythunder.com 27 days ago — Darnell Mayberry’s thoughts on last night’s game : “Sunday’s shot selection was particularly alarming. Alarming because Durant continued to settle for jumpers.
