The Houston Astros are 13 gms back, in last place in what appears to be the most competitive division (NL central) of the National league. The Stros are also nine games back in the wild card race and would have to climb over nine teams just to make the playoffs. It's safe to say that Houston will be a seller at the trade deadline and Jim Molony of MLB.com says that the contending teams are already inquiring about players. According to Molony teams have asked about the availability of Darin Erstad and Mark Loretta. Erstad is a 34 y/o left hander who can play all three outfield positions and firstbase.
