According Kosuke Fukudome’s agent, his client chose the Cubs over the White Sox based largely on the fact that the Cubs have yet to have a player from Japan on their roster. Why not just base your decision on which team dons the prettiest uniform? The Sox reportedly offered a superior financial package but apparently Fukudome doesn’t want anyone to confuse him with former Sox players Shingo Takatsu and Tadihito Iguchi. He also wasn’t flexible with his desire to play right field instead of the left field job the Sox offered him. Is it just me, or is this guy all about himself? ...
