ok giving her the benefit of the doubt, i'd say 6 or 7 max.
I get the feeling the Chinese are cheating.. China, since 1906 has only won 112 Gold Medals, and a total of 286 medals (Summer Olympics) having participated in only 7 summer olympic games.. they average about 16 gold medals and 40 medals total per olympic games.

the US since 1906 has won 894 Gold Medals, and a total of over 2000, having participated in 24 summer olympic games... the US averages 37 gold medals and 91 medals total per olympic games..
looking at the numbers, what gives?

that's more than twice as many golds and twice as many medals total...

so how is China suddenly mastering the Olympics, coming in first in the gold medal count and second in total medals?

The United States leads in total medal count with 102, ahead of China by a margin of 13, who has 89 medals. but trails behind China in total Gold Medals. It seems as if China isn't settling for anything less than gold. With 47 Gold Medals, China holds the lead over the US by 16, putting the US at 31 Gold Medals. Great Britain is third in Gold Medals with 18, and Russia 3rd in total medals with 57.
