Sunday’s win put the Mets 12 games over .500 for the first time this season. What may surprise people is the way the Mets have been winning. The franchise known for pitching, the one that featured Seaver, Koosman, Matlack, Gooden, Darling, Fernandez, Cone and others is doing it with hitting.
