RedBaron There must be other white stereotypes we could come up with ... how about coachable, unselfish, and fundamentally sound?-
MrThell I completely agree. And in any event, the reasons WHY he plays poor defense are beside the point, it's only the fact that he does that's relevant. There's been a really good (and sometimes bad) discussion going on in the comments section for the article, check it out. Some very good insight there. -
Ben Q. Rock He's so articulate.

... Empty The Bench decided to ruffle some feathers today. We don't agree. And therefore they should never be allowed to blog again. Sorry, still pissed. Anyway. They make some good points about Nash's glaring lack of defense, but we think there's more to it than that, and his leadership and the way he changed the game is something we'll never forget. ...

The Internets: Breaking Down Steve Nash

... The good folks at Empty the Bench wonder if the real reason the Suns won’t contend in this year’s playoffs is Steve Nash — and his defense. In a conference dominated by great point guards, Nash is great on one side of the ball and a decided liability on the other. Could the two-time MVP be the difference — the wrong way — in a series with New Orleans, Utah or others? ...

... • Overrated my lily-white ass. Steve Nash gave a big Canucky middle finger to the latest round of "Steve Nash is overrated" debates by scoring 25 points (8-for-11) and dishing out 13 assists in the Phoenix Suns' 127-113 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. When informed that his performance wasn't all that impressive, coming as it did against a 14-win team, Nash said, "Are you kidding me? Why is it when Kobe ...

He isn't really overrated. Its just that he isnt blessed with physical attributes like the other younger guards and for his age ,he really cant be called overrated. He makes thos up by playing smart, He can also draw offensive fouls. Even with his limitations, He shows that you dont need atlethicism to dominate a game, He uses mans most lethal weapon, the brain.
