Redsauce The list is crap. There's a ton of people who aren't in the Mitchell Report. This "leaked" list is a malicious guess aimed to get website hits, at best.-
Richie Rich This is just speculation, but it could be that the morning list was all the names either investigated or at least alleged for PED's.
My guess is that the actual Mitchell Report named only the names that they had real evidence against.
-
Redsauce I'm sure the Mitchell report named only people they had actual evidence against. I would have been incredibly disappointed if it consisted of guesses and innuendos.
Everyone & their mother has been alledged to use PEDs. This list was pure crap, someone just put a list of people together who they personally thought were using, that's all it was. This was just someone's attempt to get a scoop on the Mitchell report & steal some time in the limelight by accusing innocents.
-
Evil Empire Hey, now! My mother may puff on the peace pipe from time to time, but she is most definitely not using PEDs.

I think the main reason is because of the competitiveness that I derive from our weekly league matchups. While most people are having fun socializing, I'm headbutting Mike to get myself fired up. Between you and I - I hope I'm not named in the Mitchell investigation. (For unsubstantiated rumors and dick jokes check the following post threads: With Leather, Deadspin, The Big Lead) I wrote about the league a few months ago after my ...

His new deal allows A-Rod to earn $30 million more for achieving historic milestones. He is 18th on the career list with 518 homers, 244 shy of Barry Bonds' record. Given some of the contracts handed out this winter, I think the Yankees got a pretty good deal. Update : Deadspin has the same list I do . The names that stick out to me are Varitek, Pujols and Kile. As we all know by now George Mitchell is set to unleash a furor upon Baseball. Some 60 to 80 names of current and former major leaguers are expected to be fingered as steroid/ HGH users. Some of them are All-Stars, MVP's and potential Hall of Famers. Deadspin has a short list of names expected to be outed and they include several former and a current Dodger. George Mitchell Member Of Red Sox Board Of Directors Conflict Of Interest

MLB KEEPS UP APPEARANCES; MITCHELL ON BOSOX BOARD: Here's a live video link to the Mitchell Report press conference (and some snazzy musaq until 11am PT). Of course, all we care about is " the list ", which reportedly includes Albert Pujols . As you look at the (fake?) list, it is a little curious that so many Yankees are present and so few Red Sox are on there. We guess that George Mitchell being on the Board of Directors of the Red Sox has nothing to do with that.

The All-Snubbed Team: These players want to know why THEY weren’t named in the Mitchell report
Published 12/14/2007 by Cameron Martin at Bugs & Cranks
Let’s face it, the Mitchell report didn’t include ALL the names we expected to see. Frankly, the preemptive list circulating this morning, which Deadspin posted and which several “respected” news organizations such as MSNBC freely shared, seemed fishy from the get-go. I mean, Rich Garces? Unless human growth hormone comes with a side plate of cattle, El Guapo wasn’t ingesting it. That said, the disproven list did contain many names which we did expect to see in the Mitchell report, so it now seems disingenuous to act like we knew all along that Pudge Rodriguez, David Ortiz, ...
