Islanders goalie DiPietro day-to-day again
One of the most fruitless exercises in sports these days is trying to handicap the frequency and length of the injuries suffered by Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro. He's officially listed as day-to-day with a strained groin that kept him from an expected start against the Rangers last night at Madison Square Garden, but who knows what the over/under is on how long it will be before DiPietro actually plays again?
