MacDonald, who made 38 saves, the Islanders completed a home-and-home sweep of longtime nemesis Ottawa with a 3-2 victory last night at Nassau Coliseum. The Isles built a 3-0 lead on goals by Sean Bergenheim, Jon Sim and Chris Campoli, and though they surrendered late goals to Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza to make it close, there never was a sense of losing control as they did earlier this season.
