ISLANDERS NOTEBOOK: Meyer makes it a healthy six

For the first time this season, the Islanders had their top six defenseman intact and available with the return of Freddy Meyer against Pittsburgh last night at Nassau Coliseum. Meyer underwent sports hernia surgery on Halloween in Munich under the hand of Dr. Ulrike Muschaweck, who has performed the same operation on Dallas defenseman Sergei Zubov and other top athletes.
