Islanders' Sillinger to rest injuries
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Although center Mike Sillinger took part in a hard, high-tempo practice Friday, Sillinger was rested against the Blue Jackets last night at Nationwide Arena because of a groin strain. Sillinger had played five games in eight days to begin his comeback from February hip surgery, but said he "tweaked" his groin Tuesday in Philadelphia, though he thinks the injury is unrelated to his hip surgery.
