Islanders struggling to keep defensemen healthy
Defense was supposed to be the Islanders' strength this season, but injuries and the resulting lineup shuffle have left them fragile at the blue line in more ways than one. After playing all of three games with their top six defensemen in the lineup for the first time this season, the revolving door to the trainer's room spun again at practice yesterday as Radek Martinek reinjured his right shoulder in a collision with Andy Sutton.
